is one of the first NGOs that has contributed to the development
of research on the Andean cat and has favoured the first workshop
for the conservation of the species, where for the first time different
Andean cat researchers met and established the Committee for the
Conservation of the Andean Cat, at present AGA.

WAC
has also provided an important donation for research projects on
the Andean cat, mainly in Argentina.
